Connecting with Horsham’s Norman past, Horsham Museum are organising a Norman town trail - on Friday and Saturday - tickets can be bought in advance. The Museum will also be highlighting a couple of its items that date from Norman times.

Drill practice for new recruits - from 11am The Forum, from 2pm East Street | | 10am to 5pm | Milites de Bec Normans, re-enactors in Carfax and across the town. The Norman knights return to Horsham. See their equipment and skills-at-arms as they patrol the town to keep the peace. Talk to the Norman ladies and the friendly townsfolk as they practice their crafts in the marketplace. | | 11am to 3pm | Fascinating Rhythm (Café Style Jazz Band) – Carfax Bandstand | | 1am to 1.30pm | Franglais (Guignol - the French version of Punch & Judy - plus balloon twisting, French style barrel organ music) - Carfax Bandstand | | 11am to 4pm | Anthony Bryan (Strolling Accordionist) –Carfax, Market Square, Piries Place, East & West Street | | 2pm to 4pm | Saxophony (Saxaphone Quartet) - Carfax Bandstand | | 5pm | Markets close |
