Hi UKAO,
Thought I'd tell you of a performance I played in at the University of Nottingham - it was an orchestral work called Dark Sun by Stephen Montague and was written for the 50th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. It was an all-comers orchestra with members of COMA Ensemble. We rehearsed from noon till 6 p.m before the evening concert. Here is the extract from the crit. in our paper which refers to my accordion playing.
"Amid the din and haze of nuclear war, the emergence of a lone accordion seemed like a voice from a friendlier world" I played Domino for this part of the music.
Thanks
